Jason Momoa Gets ''Exciting News'' from James Gunn and Peter Safran: Another Case of Bootlicking or Not?

SnyderVerse star Jason Momoa uploaded a story on Instagram where he is excited and screaming after hearing ''good news'' from James (Gunn), Peter (Safran) and he mentioned ''David'' too, so that has to be David Zaslav. While Jason mentions that he has good news he says that he is not able to tell us right now exactly what these news are. I'm sure it's not him being excited after hearing that Gunn is restoring the SnyderVerse right?

Jason ends the video with the words ''To the future, to the future''. So this has to be about HIS future with Warner Brothers. Jason wants a new job and it seems like WBD already gave him one. The majority of fans believe that this job is him portraying the DC character ''Lobo''. Well im sure it's not about him being the Aquaman of James Gunn's new DCU, so it's definitely something else.

I mean ok we get it, he is an actor and he can be excited for a new role but the thing is that he has to think about how SnyderVerse fans will react to that? He still is Aquaman for most fans so it would be smarter for him to keep promoting Aquaman 2 instead of sharing how excited he is that Gunn will let him have a job with WBD. Jason should think about how complicated the situation is right now and how divided the fandom is, before making such announcements on his social media.

Do Gunn and Safran really think that they can have our respect by keeping some SnyderVerse actors playing a different role or even the same role? If Gunn really wants our respect he has to bring back Henry Cavill and let Zack Snyder complete his vision. That's the only way to end the DC Fandom Civil War. Wouldn't it be smarter if Jason made this announcement after Aquaman 2? Im sure that many fans won't watch Aquaman 2 after an announcement like that, just think about it. Many fans see Aquaman 2 and The Flash as the last ''SnyderVerse'' films, i get why they see things this way but i disagree, that's why i won't pay to watch these films.

For me Jason's behaviour reminds me the way Zachary Levi defended James Gunn and called the fans trolls. I know that Jason didn't do that but both cases could be considered bootlicking by the fans. Should SnyderVerse fans trust Gunn the same way Levi and Momoa seem to do? Should we just ''move on''? No, no, no, not moving on. Can't forget the way Gunn treated the fans, destroyed our dreams and called us a minority. For me Jason's instagram story is just really sad and shows how bad things are for DC fans right now. We finally know the official release date for Rebel Moon and that is on 22 December 2023, only on Netflix. Snyder started at Netflix with the zombie feature Army of the Dead, released in 2021, and is building out a universe based on that concept in addition to the world of Rebel Moon.

Rebel Moon picks up at the edge of the galaxy, when a peaceful colony is threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius. The colony sends a young woman named Kora to seek warriors from neighboring planets to help them make a stand.

The film stars Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Bae Doona, Ray Fisher, with Charlie Hunnam and Anthony Hopkins in a voice role. It also stars Cary Elwes, Corey Stoll, Jena Malone and Fra Fee. Snyder penned the script with 300′s Kurt Johnstad and his Army of the Dead scribe Shay Hatten.

Sucker Punch (2011) by Zack Snyder (SPOILER) Review

Review Title: Underrated and Unique: It's a Solid 7/10 for Me.

I'm writing this review before reading any other reviews because I want to be as unbiased as possible, also I'm watching the Extended Cut for a better experience. When the movie starts we can hear ''Sweet Dreams'' playing in the background, why do I get the feeling that this film is gonna be a bit edgy, in a good Snydery way? We have already many slow motion shots, gotta love that, also I get strong fairytale-like vibes. The asylum feels really Snydery, this film already feels like a Snyder film. Nice to see Moon Knight in this haha (talking about Oscar Isaac). Ok this turned into a musical pretty fast, i like it. I have to admit that Babydoll has a really wild imagination. The first 30 minutes are really good, let's see what comes next. These giant Samurais look really cool, love the design, the Samurai fight scene was awesome.

Most of the characters are interesting but Babydoll and Rocket seem to be the most interesting so far. The way that Babydoll describes her escape plan reminds me of an RPG quest hehe, that's good though, i like this structure. Other characters that seem to be interesting are Blue (Oscar Isaac) and the Wise Man (Scott Glenn). The WW2 scene is very surreal, we have a giant high-tech Robot, we have planes, we have Zombie soldiers? And we have a huge army of German soldiers with gas masks. The mission to get fire was straight out of Lord of the Rings with castles, orcs and dragons. A dragon chasing a plane? I don't remember seeing that before, definitely cool. Zack really loves superhero landings, I do too. The scene in the train gave me Terminator vibes with the robotic warriors.

Wait Rocket died? She was an interesting character, that's sad. Someone could say that this movie is just a bunch of movie cliches thrown in a blender but Zack actually makes the whole thing feel fresh and unique, with interesting twists and it doesn't feel like a copy of someone else's work. Love how the wise man is the bus driver in the end. I don't understand why it has a 6/10 on IMDB, it's a bit unfair in my opinion. For me this movie is a solid 7. I think that towards the end of the film the pacing could have been better or i would give a higher rating. Sometimes it wasn't that easy to understand what's real and what's fiction but i'm sure that watching it a 2nd time would solve this problem. Most of the visual effects were decent but there were some scenes where they could have been better.

My favorite scene was the one where Babydoll fought the giant Samurais. The direction, cinematography and performances were good overall. I really enjoyed most of the music used in this film. It's a fun movie that has a little bit of everything, drama, action and lots of fantasy. While the movie has messages about abuse, feeling alone and desperate, for me it was mostly fun. You shouldn't take this film too seriously, not all films have to be serious. This is not Snyder's best work in my opinion but it is definitely worth watching, especially for Snyder fans.

‘'Let Ben Affleck direct a Deathstroke movie’': Fans Implore James Gunn Let Joe Manganiello Star in Affleck’s DCU Directorial Debut

Ben Affleck who has performed the roles of Batman on screen, has impressed fans with his brilliant acting. Affleck will be seen reprising his role of Batman in the upcoming DCEU movie The Flash. (Comment from SnyderVerse Archive: I see different articles saying different things about Batfleck's cameo, some say it will happen, some say it won't so...) Along with his marvelous acting skills, Affleck is also a well-proven filmmaker and director and has directed movies like Gone Baby Gone, Argo, The Town, and many more. In recent updates, it has been revealed that James Gunn is in talks with Ben Affleck to direct an upcoming DC movie.

Ben Affleck’s Incomplete DC Project

It is not a hidden fact that Affleck was directing a Batman movie that would involve Joseph Manganiello reprising his role of Deathstroke to play a major antagonist. The story would involve Deathstroke getting to know Batman’s true identity and blaming Batman for the death of his son. Manganiello in an interview spilled a lot on the canceled movie and talked about his character – Deathstroke.

“It was a really dark story in which Deathstroke was like a shark or a horror movie villain that was dismantling Bruce’s life from the inside out. It was this systemic thing: He killed everyone close to Bruce and destroyed his life to try and make him suffer because he felt that Bruce was responsible for something that happened to him. It was really cool, really dark, and really hard. I was very excited about it.”

Yet due to some differences, Affleck’s project was halted in between leaving the promising project incomplete. After Affleck’s departure, Matt Reeves was hired to recreate a different storyline for the upcoming Batman movie. Reeves decided to remove Deathstroke altogether from the movie and created an entirely different plot along with Peter Craig and released a movie titled ''The Batman'' starring Robert Pattinson as a new face for Batman. Many fans believed that the movie would have been much better if only the makers would have adopted the former Batman’s plot.

James Gunn and Ben Affleck

In a series of tweet revelations, James Gunn mentioned being in touch with Affleck as a potential director for an upcoming DC movie. Fans however seek and demand to see Affleck’s work on Deathstroke movie. Though all fans can do is pray to bring back Affleck to save the drowning DCEU. Till then fans can be happy to see Ben Affleck once again reprising Batman in the upcoming movie The Flash, which will be released on June 16, 2023.

Why I'm Boycotting the 4 Upcoming DCU Movies and Why You Should Too!

Im boycotting these 4 upcoming DCU movies: Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Flash, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Blue Beetle. Im not willing to pay to watch these movies in theatre. Read more if you wanna know why.

One of the reasons I wanted to watch the Flash and Aquaman was because I thought Ben Affleck would appear in these movies as Batman. Recently I've read many articles and most people think that Batfleck is over, no cameos, no nothing. This killed any excitement i had. 

The weird thing is that when I went to cinema to watch Avatar 2 (which is an awful movie by the way) I saw the trailer for Shazam 2, and there you can see Shazam mentioning Aquaman, Flash and Batfleck which I found to be weird. [The Trailer Here] If Batfleck is over why mention him in the Shazam trailer? Like what the hell is going on?

Warner's marketing is extremely messy and confusing. It's like they don't know what to do with these movies. These movies and characters except Blue Beetle probably won't be part of Gunn's new DC Universe so why should I be interested in watching movies of a universe about to die. What's the point of releasing them? Most of them if not all of them will be huge flops.

Many believe that after Ezra's The Flash, Gunn will keep Ezra around as the Flash of his new DCU. To be honest i don't believe that. It would be really surprising to me if Gunn ends up doing that. My prediction is that after Shazam 2, Aquaman 2 and the Flash, Gunn is going to erase all these characters and start from zero with new (really) young actors. So it would be better if Gunn just cancelled all the upcoming movies in my opinion.

I'm sure that I'm not the only DCEU fan that feels this way about these upcoming (pointless) movies. Also for me it's hard to believe that these movies will be a box office success. Like who cares about watching when it's official that the SnyderVerse is Dead. Aren't Aquaman and the Flash 2 of the main SnyderVerse actors / characters?

So my conclusion is no snyderverse > dead universe > pointless movies > no money from me. Sorry James Gunn and Warner Bros Discovery, enjoy the upcoming disaster.

People at Warner Bros Discovery think that the SnyderVerse is a Bad Idea but Greenlight Woke Disaster ''Velma''

So on January 12, two ''Velma'' episodes got released. This animated show is supposed to be a Scoony Doo spin-off. Since the trailers came out people were already angry when they saw that their favorite Scooby Doo characters are unrecognizable. They changed Velma's and Daphne's race. They deleted Shaggy and instead they have a black dude called ''Norville'' who dresses like Shaggy, so he is like ''the new shaggy'' and we have Fred who looks like Fred but acts like an infant.

Things got even worse two days ago when the first two episodes got released on HBO Max. Both critics and fans, especially fans absolutely hate it. All you have to do is check Velma on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes to see what i mean. Right now the IMDB Rating for the show is 1.8/10 and on Rotten Tomatoes the audience score is 7%.

The Snyderverse is a universe with countless passionate and dedicated fans. All we wanted to see was Zack Snyder coming back to give a proper ending for the universe. Does Warner think that the Snyderverse maybe it's not woke enough? Is content like Velma the future direction for Warner and HBO Max?

I hope im wrong but im pretty sure that deep down James Gunn is a Marvel guy who wants to do things the Marvel way, you know the way of ''diversity'' and ''inclusion''. So im expecting a new DC universe full of identity politics and agendas. Maybe that's what Snyder couldn't do. His universe was too serious and ''dark'' for these people who think that comic book movies should be like Thor: Love and Thunder. Full of diverse characters, woke identity politics and awful cringe humour.

Good luck, Warner Bros and James Gunn, you'll need it.
